GEJ: An Epitome and Symbol of a True Man(International Day of the Man)
The international Day of the Man is been celebrated worldwide on 20th November of every year,it is a time for reflection and taking stock as a Man whichever role that fits(Father,Brother,Son,Husband). How have you as a Man affected the society positively by your actions. Have you been a wonderful role models to your children and younger generations watching?. If by your own sincere assessment you have performed below expectations it would be wise to actually sit Up and change the narrative.
The world and the societal norms have been so degraded that Fathers,Uncles,Brothers and sons are now so comfortable molesting their female relatives especially the very young ones. Cases of Men impregnating their biological daughters and even aborting the babies is on the increase,with some giving stupid excuses for their actions. The society can only get better when Men take their rightful place in the scheme of things both at home and society. God never makes mistakes that is why he made Man(Male) the Head of the home and by inference the society too. As the International Day of the Man is been celebrated today it is a call to stand up for the right things to be done in the society. We are in dire need of Men who would save humanity from spiraling out of control in morality and put mankind back on track.One of such Men is Former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan who turned 62 today, he single handedly doused the tension from the General Elections of 2015 by putting a call across to his opponent General Muhammadu Buhari and saved the Country from plunging into chaos. The average Nigerian Politician will never dream of doing what he did. Today he's been celebrated as a True African leader both at home and especially the international community. For me GEJ is my Man Crush Wednesday as he celebrates his birthday,my prayer is that he lives to enjoy the fruit of his labour in good health.
